Job Overview:
The Chief Operating Officer is responsible for creating and overseeing exports and new business model development of the company. This role involves leadership, strategic planning, business development, regulatory compliance, financial management, and team management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create a clear road map on market access strategy for Comparator drugs supplies ( RLDs ) into various markets in US, Canada, China, Australia, EU & APAC countries.
- Identify and the products and create the new product market supply strategies for various Innovator brands.
- Building strong business relationship with front hand and back hand integration teams which includes internal & external stakeholders with key relationship building.
- To hire and establish the key account heads for the business and ensure the driving of proper business at all business models.
- Create, establish and nurture the new business models for the Comparator drugs, Name patient drug supplies, Indian RLD business and so on.
- Handling and Training the team via BD – Sales, Sourcing, Regulatory, logistics, and other business departments.
- Devise the strategy for each business model in detailed and execute the same.
- Monitor and achieve revenues in terms of top line and bottom line targets as per the commitment.
- Responsible for team reviews and controlling the business activities for each functions.
- Develop on the new platforms like AI and Digital marketing strategies for corporate level.
- Global BD needs to be coordinated who all are based out in remote in respective countries.
- International travelling must be required.
- Developing key relationships with the key stakeholders
- Responsible to go in depth method of working of creating the budgets for the year & the business proposals and case studies for the new strategic decisions.
- Driving numbers and motivating team by getting all functions performing the activities.
- Coordinating internally with the various functional HODs and heads for the completion of the tasks.
- In a nutshell would be responsible to drive the entire function and team in a controlled manner.
- Collect all information from overseas Market & inform to organization for strategic decision
- Meeting all the Key opinion leaders of the decision makers of the clinical trial teams , CROs , sponsors and so on.
- Responsible for generating the business for the new molecules, identifying new launch molecules and making strategies to access the same.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across the organization. Your primary goal will be to increase our organization’s productivity, efficiency, and profitability. You will advise the CEO on key operational insights as well as provide coaching to employees
Key Responsibilities
Produce annual operation forecasting report and strategy
Oversee and evaluate day-to-day operations
Identify new market opportunities to accelerate growth
Present operational strategy recommendations to the CEO based on your market research
Work Experience Qualifications:
- The Chief Operating Officer for clinical trial supplies must have a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, clinical trials, and regulatory compliance to ensure the success and integrity of the business. Additionally, strong leadership qualities and business acumen are essential to guide the company toward its strategic objectives.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as pharmaceutical sciences, business administration, or life sciences. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA or Ph.D.) may be preferred in to the Clinical Trials industry or pharmaceutical industry.
- Extensive experience of 10-15 years in the pharmaceutical or clinical research industry, including leadership roles. Person with Techno commercial expertise is must.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements related to pharmaceutical sourcing and distribution.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, self-motivator
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
