What This Role Is About
You will be calling people who have already shown interest in our courses. These are warm leads, not cold calls. Your job is to have a real conversation, understand their situation, and guide them towards enrolling in the right program. You are the first real human contact a prospective student has with NIHT, so how you speak matters a lot.
This is a target-based role. You will have monthly enrollment goals and you will be expected to meet them consistently.
What You Will Do
- Call warm leads daily and have meaningful conversations about their career goals
- Explain our courses clearly, answer questions honestly, and address doubts
- Follow up regularly with interested candidates until they make a decision
- Maintain a clean record of all calls, status updates, and follow-up dates
- Coordinate with the admissions team once a student is ready to enroll
- Share feedback from leads with the team so we can improve our outreach
What We Need
- Good spoken communication in Bengali, Hindi, and English (all three matter here)
- A friendly and confident phone manner, not scripted, just natural
- Ability to listen first, then talk, not the other way around
- Comfortable with targets and okay with following up multiple times
- Basic computer skills for maintaining call logs and records
- 1 to 3 years of experience in telecalling, inside sales, or student counselling is preferred
- Freshers with strong communication skills are also welcome to apply
What Kind of Person Will Do Well Here
Someone who genuinely enjoys talking to people and does not give up after one no. You will speak to students who are confused, undecided, or nervous about taking a big step. The right person for this role is patient, clear, and honest. We do not want someone who uses pressure tactics. We want someone who builds trust.
