Position Applied: Engineer- Technical Support & Design
Experience:- 2 to 5 years
Job Description:
1. Confirm primary feasibility for new RFQ parts for export customers.
2. SolidWorks (3D CAD) expertise
3. Provide BOMs for standard and customized products, including tooling and packing details. (Export & OEM customers)
4. Prepare and maintain RFQ enquiry sheets.
5. Provide technical drafts for new RFQs and respond to technical queries.
6. Prepare and update packing standards.
7. Conduct pallet listing for shipments.
8. Assist Sales team to raise new BOM requisitions to add parts in ERP & CPSS.
9. Prepare drawings for export customers and follow up for approval from the plant.
10. Requisition drawings and send them for customer approval with follow-ups.
11. Raise sample requisitions and follow up for lead time.
12. Collect sample feedback from customers.
13. Ensure submission of Sample PDIR and RMTC.
14. Conduct packing trials using actual cartons.
15. Attend customer meetings.
16. Coordinate with customers for any technical queries.
17. Support new customer development projects.
18. Conduct plant visits to review ongoing projects.
19. Collaborate with the purchase team for development & procurement of new cartons or other packing materials and raw
material for new projects.
20. Monitor actual weight vs. ZBC weight ratio for accuracy.
21. Maintain the Complaint Register and ensure timely closure of complaints.
22. Checking quotation before sending to customer (Technical details)
23. Access and manage emails of Business development assistant in his absence.
24. Handle pending tasks of Business development assistant when required.
25. Providing product related basic training to new joinee.
