Business Development Executive

Role Description:

We are seeking a full-time Business Development Executive to join our on-site team in Pallikaranai, Chennai. The responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, generating leads, managing client accounts, and fostering strong communication with prospective and existing clients. The role involves contributing to business growth by developing strategic plans, building professional relationships, and promoting company services effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation

Identify and research potential clients through online platforms, databases, social media, and referrals
Generate qualified leads via email outreach, cold calling, LinkedIn, and inbound inquiries
Maintain and update lead data in CRM or tracking sheets
Follow up consistently to move leads through the sales funnel

Business Development

Understand company services/products and communicate value propositions clearly
Schedule meetings and product demos for the sales/management team
Assist in proposal preparation, pricing discussions, and documentation
Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospects and clients
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities with existing clients

Market & Strategy Support

Track market trends, competitor activities, and client requirements
Provide regular reports on lead status, conversion rates, and pipeline performance
Support marketing campaigns and collaborations to improve lead quality

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
Experience in lead generation, sales, or business development
Familiarity with CRM tools, email tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator (preferred)
Ability to research, qualify leads, and follow up independently(preferred)
Basic understanding of digital services / IT / software solutions (preferred)
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and organized

Good to Have

Experience in B2B sales or IT services industry
Knowledge of proposal writing and client onboarding
Exposure to international clients
