PNC Cognitio School is seeking an empathetic, creative, and academically strong Support Teacher to provide personalized academic guidance and mentorship for a bright, high-ability student enrolled under the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Tailored Academic Support: Guide the student through the NIOS syllabus across core subjects, adapting lessons to match their advanced learning speed and intellectual curiosity.
- Curriculum Execution: Help the student complete Tutor Marked Assignments (TMAs), practical files, and prepare effectively for NIOS Public / On-Demand Examinations.
- Enrichment & Critical Thinking: Introduce supplementary materials, project-based learning, and higher-order thinking tasks to keep an inquisitive learner engaged and challenged beyond standard textbook materials.
- Self-Paced Learning Guidance: Assist the student in developing independent study habits, effective time management, and structured daily learning routines.
- Progress Tracking: Continually evaluate learning outcomes, maintain academic progress logs, and collaborate regularly with parents and school leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: 12th pass or Bachelor's with good English communication skill.
- Experience: Prior experience teaching or supporting students within the NIOS framework; experience working with Gifted and Talented learners is a strong plus.
- Curriculum Knowledge: Strong familiarity with NIOS subject structures, assignment formats, practical requirements, and examination patterns.
- Skills: Excellent communication, strong mentoring abilities, adaptability, and a encouraging, student-centric teaching approach.
