Job Profile:
Weare looking for an experienced Real-Time Application Support Engineer to support and manage high-performance data systems. The ideal candidate must have strong SQL expertise combined with experience working in an ITIL-based environment. Knowledge of kdb+/q is preferred and will be a strong advantage. The role focuses on monitoring real-time applications, resolving production issues, improving system performance, and automating operational tasks.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL.
- Solid exposure to ITIL processes (incident/change/problem).
- Experience supporting production or real-time environments.
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (latency, throughput, TCP/IP).
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Proficiency or exposure to kdb+/q.
- Experience in real-time systems such as trading platforms, market data, streaming, or IoT.
- Hands-on experience with scripting/automation (Python, Shell, etc.).
