Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fitter / Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. The candidate should have hands-on experience in machine assembly, mechanical maintenance, fitting work, and welding. The role involves ensuring smooth operation of machinery through preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform machine assembly, installation, and fitting work.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machinery.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults to minimize machine downtime.
- Conduct repair, replacement, and alignment of machine components.
- Perform welding and fabrication work as required.
- Inspect machinery and equipment regularly to identify maintenance needs.
- Maintain maintenance records and daily activity reports.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Ensure proper usage and upkeep of maintenance tools and equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and company maintenance standards.
Required Qualifications
- ITI Fitter / Mechanical Trade Certificate.
- 1–2 years of experience in machine assembly and mechanical maintenance.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
