About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, highly organized, and proactive Event Operations & General Management Intern to join our team. In this role, you will get hands-on experience in the end-to-end execution of our flagship MOC Event. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual looking to build a career in large-scale event operations, logistics management, and corporate stakeholder coordination within the impactful development sector.
Please Note: This is a completely unpaid volunteer internship. Candidates are expected to arrange their own travel and cover all related personal expenses.
You will work closely with vertical heads and event leads to ensure seamless operational workflows, sharp resource management, and flawless on-ground execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Event Operations & Logistics Support
- Assist in managing vendor relations, procurement tracking, and inventory control for all event-related materials.
- Support the setup, layout planning, and coordination at the event venue to ensure everything aligns with the master blueprint.
- Coordinate local transit logistics, scheduling, and on-ground routing for event days.
2. General Management & Administration
- Maintain up-to-date tracking sheets, milestone trackers, and database logs to keep the internal team completely aligned.
- Handle documentation, process operational invoices, and organize data decks required for pre- and post-event reporting.
- Support internal team communication, ensuring action items from meetings are logged and followed up on systematically.
3. Stakeholder & On-Site Coordination
- Act as a reliable operational point of contact for corporate partners, guests, and volunteers.
- Manage helpdesks or registration flows on event days, delivering a smooth experience for all attendees.
- Provide agile, real-time problem-solving support to address any operational gaps on the field.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a graduate/post-graduate degree in Event Management, Business Administration (MBA/BBA), Communications, Commerce, or a related field.
- Exceptional multi-tasking skills with a sharp eye for operational details.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
- A strong work ethic with a willingness to engage heavily in on-field execution and movement.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
