Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP MDG Technical Consultant with 8+ years of SAP technical expertise and strong hands-on experience in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG). The ideal candidate should have experience in designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting MDG solutions across multiple master data domains while collaborating with functional and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement SAP MDG technical solutions for master data governance initiatives.
- Configure and enhance SAP MDG Data Models, Change Request Types, Workflows, and UI components.
- Develop and customize MDG applications using ABAP, Web Dynpro ABAP, FPM, BRF+, and Workflow.
- Build and enhance custom validations, derivations, business rules, and data quality checks.
- Develop interfaces between SAP MDG and SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and third-party systems.
- Work on Data Replication Framework (DRF), SOA services, and ALE/IDoc integrations.
- Create technical specifications and support functional requirements implementation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to MDG workflows, data replication, and governance processes.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, and project teams during implementation and support activities.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of SAP Technical experience with strong expertise in SAP MDG.
- Hands-on experience in SAP MDG implementations, enhancements, and support projects.
- Strong ABAP development experience including:
- Reports, Enhancements, BAdIs, User Exits
- Object-Oriented ABAP
- RFC, BAPI, ALE/IDoc
- Smart Forms / Adobe Forms
- Experience with:
- SAP MDG Data Modeling
- Change Request Management
- Workflow Configuration
- Business Rules Framework Plus (BRF+)
- Data Replication Framework (DRF)
- Floorplan Manager (FPM)
- Web Dynpro ABAP
- Knowledge of SAP HANA and SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Experience with SAP Master Data domains such as:
- Business Partner
- Customer
- Vendor/Supplier
- Material Master
- Finance Master Data
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA MDG implementations.
- Exposure to SAP BTP Integration Suite is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Fiori applications related to MDG.
- SAP MDG Certification preferred.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
Nice to Have
- Experience in MDG-M (Material), MDG-BP (Business Partner), MDG-C (Customer), and MDG-S (Supplier) domains.
- Exposure to data migration tools and governance frameworks.
- Experience in global rollout and support projects.
