Remote (India)
The Business Partnership Manager, within Lhasa Limited’s Applied Sciences team, is accountable for growing revenue and membership across India through the sponsorship of Lhasa Limited’s in-silico solutions. The role holder will build a network of business relationships with prospective and existing members, working closely with Lhasa Limited’s Application Scientists to combine commercial acumen with scientific credibility. This is a fully remote, India-based role.

- Grow revenue and membership across India by developing new business opportunities and upselling Lhasa Limited’s in-silico solutions.
- Establish and proactively develop a network of strong business relationships with prospective and existing member organisations
- Respond to enquiries and offer tailored advice, confidently introducing Lhasa Limited’s solutions to prospective members
- Scope member needs alongside Lhasa Limited’s Application Scientists, drawing on an understanding of prospective workflows to identify the right solution
- Proactively promote Lhasa Limited’s in-silico solutions through scientific communication, such as workshops, exhibitions and conferences across India
- Obtain member feedback after evaluation and renewal to support solution development and improve service delivery
- Work closely with Marketing to drive demand, identify lead-generation activity, and research new opportunities and competitive threats in India
- Proven sales or business development experience, ideally selling software (SaaS) solutions or within the pharmaceutical or chemical industry (essential)
- Skilled negotiator, able to secure favourable outcomes in high-value commercial discussions (essential)
- Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets in a B2B environment (essential)
- Willingness to travel extensively and regularly across India, and internationally as required (essential)
- An undergraduate degree, master’s or PhD in a relevant chemistry or toxicology-related discipline (essential)
- Proactive, innovative and commercially aware
- Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and independently without close supervision
- Able to influence end users and decision-makers
- Interpersonal skills and sensitivity to cultural differences
- Able to understand and communicate confidently in English
