Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: Chennai, Pune & Hyderabad
Experience: 7+ Years
Job Description:
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps for services, ML jobs, and IaC.
- Containerize applications and standardize base images, build caching, and vulnerability scanning workflows.
- Automate deployments across environments (dev/test/prod), including approvals and rollback strategies.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) modules and release pipelines (Terraform/Bicep).
- Manage secrets, certificates, and configuration across environments (Key Vault or equivalent).
- Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting; improve reliability through SLOs and runbooks.
- Optimize build and deployment time; enforce quality gates (tests, linting, security checks).
- Collaborate on networking and security hardening, including least-privilege access for pipelines.
- Support incident response and post-incident improvements for deployment and platform issues.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps) and release management.
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and managing deployments.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform and/or Bicep) and environment automation.
- Good understanding of Linux, networking basics, and application observability.
- Experience with security best practices in build/deploy pipelines (secrets management, scanning, approvals).
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues across build, deploy, and runtime layers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Kubernetes (AKS) and Helm-based deployments.
- Experience with policy-as-code and compliance controls (e.g., Azure Policy).
- Exposure to ML workloads in CI/CD (model packaging, artifact management, versioning).
- Experience with performance testing and load testing automation.
