Sunday Croissants is looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Barista to join our team. We’re looking for someone who can make a great cup of coffee, but just as importantly, someone who can communicate well, connect with customers, and make people feel welcome.
What you’ll do
- Prepare and serve coffee, beverages, and other café offerings consistently.
- Understand basic coffee preparation, espresso extraction, milk steaming, and beverage presentation.
- Greet customers warmly and help them choose from the menu.
- Communicate confidently and clearly with customers about our coffee, food, ingredients, and recommendations.
- Take orders accurately and coordinate smoothly with the kitchen and service team.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station, equipment, and service areas.
- Ensure every order meets Sunday Croissants’ quality and presentation standards.
- Handle busy service periods calmly and efficiently.
- Help create the warm, relaxed and welcoming experience we want every customer to have at Sunday.
Who we’re looking for
- Previous experience as a barista or in a café is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Comfortable speaking with customers and initiating conversations when appropriate.
- Friendly, approachable, well-groomed, and professional.
- Good understanding of coffee and willingness to continue learning.
- Able to work well as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and genuine interest in hospitality.
