Job Title: Ambulance Driver
Location : Mogappair | Kodambakkam
Job Summary:
An Ambulance Driver is responsible for safely transporting patients to and from the hospital or healthcare facilities during emergencies and non-emergency situations. The role requires quick response, safe driving skills, and basic patient-handling support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely drive and operate the ambulance in emergency and non-emergency situations
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and transport patients to the hospital
- Assist paramedics or medical staff in loading and unloading patients
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during transportation
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the ambulance at all times
- Perform routine vehicle checks (fuel, oil, brakes, lights, siren, etc.)
- Follow traffic rules while prioritizing emergency response
- Maintain records of trips, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance
- Ensure ambulance equipment is in proper working condition
Requirements:
- Qualification: 10th / 12th pass
- Valid Driving License (Badge should be available )
- Minimum 2–5 years of driving experience (ambulance experience preferred)
- Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations
- Basic understanding of first aid (preferred)
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts
