Job Title: Architect
Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architect to design, plan, and oversee the construction of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The Architect will collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to develop functional, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing designs while ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand project requirements, goals, budget, and timeline.
- Develop architectural concepts, drawings, and detailed construction documents.
- Prepare 2D and 3D designs using architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, consultants, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure designs comply with local building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards.
- Review project progress through site visits and provide technical guidance during construction.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
- Present design proposals and revisions to clients and stakeholders.
- Evaluate materials, construction methods, and sustainability practices to optimize project outcomes.
- Resolve design and construction issues while maintaining project quality and timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
- Valid architectural license or registration (preferred or required, depending on location).
- Proven experience in architectural design and project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
