Position: Senior Accountant
Experience: 15-20 years in accounting, preferably in a CA firm
Qualification: Commerce Graduate / Postgraduate — Semi-Qualified CA (CA Inter / CA dropout) is a strong plus
Salary: 10LPA to 12LPA
Office Timings: 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM
Location: Moti Nagar, New Delhi
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant who has a good understanding of financial books of accounts as well as MIS reporting for SME businesses and can also lead a team. This is a hands-on leadership role for a professional ready to move from routine execution to real responsibility and authority over the accounts desk.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently handle and finalise accounts for corporate and non-corporate clients
- Would be able to undertake finalization of BS, ledger scrutiny, reconciliations and finalisation of Balance Sheets
- Handle GST, TDS and income-tax compliances — returns, workings and coordination
- Lead a team, of 3-5 people.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports and dashboards for management review
- Support statutory and tax audits with schedules, data and reconciliations
The Ideal Candidate
- 15–20 years of solid accounting experience.
- Semi-Qualified CA (CA Inter / CA dropout) preferred — a strong added advantage
- Strong command of Tally, Excel / Google Sheets and MIS reporting
- Good working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and Accounting Standards
- Proven ability to manage a team and handle responsibilities independently
- Good communication skills, discipline and the ability to meet deadlines
