- About the Role:
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and motivated Junior Interior Designer to join our growing team at Tathastu Architects. In this role, you will work closely with the principal architect on turnkey residential, commercial, and industrial projects, from conceptual design to on-site execution.
Develop creative interior design concepts, space planning, and layout options for residential and commercial spaces.
Create detailed 2D working drawings, floor plans, elevations, and electrical/ceiling layouts using AutoCAD.
Develop high-quality 3D views, material boards, and architectural renderings.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and site supervisors to ensure work is executed as per approved designs.
Assist clients in selecting materials, color palettes, furniture, fixtures, and finishes.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and maintain quality control.
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
Experience: 0 to 2 years of relevant experience (Freshers with a strong portfolio are welcome).
Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is mandatory. Knowledge of V-Ray, Lumion, or Photoshop is a strong plus.
Strong understanding of space planning, material properties, and construction details.
Good communication and presentation skills to explain design ideas clearly.
Ability to handle project pressures and meet delivery timelines.
