Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Senior Academic Counsellor to guide prospective learners in choosing suitable educational programs and achieving their career goals. The candidate will be responsible for counselling, admissions, lead conversion, and mentoring junior counsellors while ensuring excellent student experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students regarding courses, certifications, and career opportunities.
- Handle inquiries through calls, emails, WhatsApp, and walk-ins.
- Convert leads into admissions by providing accurate program information.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain a strong admission pipeline.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
- Guide and support junior academic counsellors in their daily activities.
- Maintain student records and update CRM systems regularly.
- Coordinate with academic and operations teams for smooth enrollment processes.
- Conduct career guidance sessions, webinars, and orientation programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Academic Counselling, Education Sales, or Student Admissions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle targets and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good knowledge of CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
- Leadership and team management skills are preferred.
