Job Overview:
Seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Physics Teacher to teach high school students (Grades 6–10). The ideal candidate will simplify complex concepts, promote scientific thinking, and encourage hands-on learning through experiments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Physics (Mechanics, Electricity, Magnetism, Optics, Thermodynamics, Modern Physics)
- Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards of CBSE/State Board
- Conduct laboratory experiments and ensure lab safety practices
- Assess student performance through tests, practicals, and assignments
- Support students in understanding difficult concepts
- Encourage curiosity, problem-solving, and analytical thinking
- Maintain discipline and a positive classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents on student progress
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and training programs
Required Qualifications:
- Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Physics or a related field
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Strong understanding of Physics concepts
Preferred Skills:
- Prior teaching experience at the high school level
- Ability to demonstrate experiments effectively
- Good communication and classroom management skills
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and simulations
