Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Mining Engineer to oversee mining operations, ensure safety compliance, and improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in mining or quarry operations, basic computer knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with the site team.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and monitor daily mining operations.
- Ensure safe and efficient extraction of minerals in accordance with company policies and statutory regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify operational improvements.
- Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and site workers to ensure smooth execution of mining activities.
- Maintain daily production, excavation, and equipment records.
- Monitor drilling, blasting, excavation, and material handling activities.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and mining regulations.
- Prepare basic reports using MS Office (Excel and Word).
- Assist management in achieving production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mining or quarry operations.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word, and email).
- Good understanding of mining processes and safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
