Job Title: Service Manager – 2 Wheeler Dealership
Job Summary
The Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire service department operations, ensuring high customer satisfaction, workshop efficiency, revenue growth, and adherence to company and manufacturer standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesWorkshop Operations
- Manage and supervise daily service workshop activities.
- Ensure timely delivery of vehicles and quality service.
- Monitor job allocation and productivity of technicians.
- Maintain workshop discipline, cleanliness, and safety standards.
Customer Service
- Handle customer complaints and escalations effectively.
- Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and retention.
- Monitor service quality and customer feedback.
Team Management
- Lead, train, and motivate service advisors, technicians, and support staff.
- Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.
- Ensure proper manpower utilization.
Revenue & Business Development
- Achieve monthly service revenue and labour targets.
- Increase spare parts and value-added service sales.
- Monitor service department profitability and expenses.
Inventory & Spare Parts Coordination
- Coordinate with the spare parts department to ensure availability of required parts.
- Monitor stock movement and minimize delays due to parts shortages.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly service reports.
- Ensure compliance with dealership and manufacturer guidelines.
- Monitor warranty claims and service documentation.
Requirements
- Diploma/B.Tech in Automobile Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a 2-wheeler dealership service department.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory/managerial role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer-handling skills.
- Good knowledge of workshop operations, service processes, and automotive technology.
