Tax Data Engineer (total – 2, India)
Role summary
Builds and operates scalable pipelines to ingest, transform, and curate tax data into the Tax Data Lake and Golden Data Layer with full auditability.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop data ingestion pipelines from SAP and external sources.
- Implement ETL/ELT transformations for tax data standardisation and enrichment.
- Build and maintain Golden Tax Data Layer supporting reporting and AI agents.
- Ensure data quality, reconciliation, lineage, and audit trail.
- Optimize performance and reliability of data pipelines.
- Support downstream reporting (returns, filings, dashboards).
Key skills / experience
- Strong experience with cloud data engineering (data lakes, ETL frameworks).
- Hands on experience with SAP data extraction and finance/tax datasets.
- SQL, Python, and modern data processing tools.
- Experience implementing data quality, controls, and audit frameworks.
- Exposure to analytics / reporting consumption layers is a plus.
- Prior knowledge of bp SAP landscape, FDF systems, etc
Pay: ₹4,000.00 - ₹4,500.00 per day
