Job Title: Sr Performance Tester
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Performance Tester to assess and ensure the scalability, responsiveness, and stability of our applications under varying load conditions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with performance testing tools, scripting, and analysing system performance data.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute performance test strategies and scripts Conduct load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability testing Analyse test results and identify bottlenecks, performance issues, and opportunities for optimization Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve application performance Prepare and present detailed performance test reports and dashboards Automate performance test scenarios where applicable Monitor systems during tests and track metrics such as CPU, memory, and response times
Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 5+ years of experience in performance testing (12+ overall experience) Proficient in tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar Understanding of HTTP/S, web services (REST/SOAP), and application architecture Knowledge of scripting languages is a plus Familiarity with CI/CD tools and integrating performance tests in pipelines is a plus
