We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and discreet individual to fill the dual role of House Manager and Personal Manager for a private residence. This pivotal position requires a professional who can seamlessly manage all aspects of household operations while providing comprehensive personal support to the principal(s). The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to anticipate needs and resolve issues efficiently. This role demands a high level of trust, confidentiality, and adaptability to ensure the smooth and harmonious functioning of both the household and the principal's personal life. The House Manager/Personal Manager will act as the central point of contact for all household-related matters and personal affairs, ensuring a high standard of service and efficiency.
- House Management:
- Oversee all aspects of household operations, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
- Manage and supervise household staff (e.g., housekeepers, gardeners, chefs), including scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
- Develop and manage household budgets, track expenses, and handle petty cash.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for services such as landscaping, security, and specialized repairs.
- Ensure the security and safety of the property and its contents.
- Maintain inventories of household supplies and ensure proper stocking.
- Plan and coordinate household events, parties, and gatherings, including guest management and vendor liaison.
- Implement and maintain efficient household systems and procedures.
- Personal Management:
- Manage complex calendars, appointments, and travel itineraries for the principal(s).
- Arrange domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, and detailed itineraries.
- Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls, acting as a gatekeeper when necessary.
- Run personal errands, including shopping, dry cleaning, and gift purchasing.
- Assist with personal finance oversight, including bill payments and expense tracking, in coordination with financial advisors.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all personal and professional matters.
- Coordinate personal appointments (medical, salon, etc.) and ensure timely reminders.
- Manage personal projects and research as required.
