Job Summary
We are looking for an L2 NOC Engineer to support the monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ISP and enterprise network infrastructure. The role involves handling escalated network incidents, performing technical analysis, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring service availability in line with operational standards and service level agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network infrastructure using network monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Level-2 network incidents related to routing, switching, broadband, and enterprise connectivity.
- Analyze network alerts and perform root cause analysis for recurring issues.
- Support routers, switches, and GPON devices by verifying configurations and resolving technical issues.
- Coordinate with field engineers, L1 support teams, and vendors to restore services.
- Perform health checks on network devices and verify service performance.
- Execute planned maintenance activities and support network upgrades.
- Create and maintain incident records, technical documentation, and operational reports.
- Follow established operational procedures, change management processes, and SLA requirements.
Required Skills
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, routing, and switching.
- Knowledge of OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and GPON technologies.
- Experience working with Cisco, Juniper, MikroTik, or similar networking platforms.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as Zabbix, PRTG, SolarWinds, or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems.
- Experience using ticketing systems for incident management.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in a Network Operations Center, ISP, telecom, or enterprise network support environment.
- CCNA certification is preferred. Higher networking certifications are an added advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
