About the Role:
We are looking for a driven and experienced Telesales Team Lead to own and grow a high-performing outbound/inbound sales team. You will be accountable for team performance, revenue outcomes, and the end-to-end people management lifecycle — from hiring to coaching to hitting targets. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 15–20 telesales representatives, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Own the hiring and onboarding process — conduct interviews and design structured training programs to bring new reps up to speed quickly.
- Set individual and team-level sales targets; monitor daily KPIs, call quality, and pipeline metrics to identify performance gaps and opportunities.
- Continuously drive improvement in conversion rates through call audits and regular coaching sessions with team members.
- Take full ownership of the team's revenue contribution — deliver month-on-month growth and report performance insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with marketing and CRM teams to align on campaigns, lead quality, and tooling improvements.
Requirements:
- 3–6 years in telesales or inside sales, with at least 1–2 years in a team lead or supervisory role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets consistently
- Experience hiring, training, and managing a team of 10+ representatives
- Strong analytical ability — comfortable reading dashboards and deriving actionable insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Hindi and English
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, Zoho, Leadsquared, or similar)
