Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and target-driven Sales Manager to drive sales of building materials by developing strong relationships with contractors, builders, architects, developers, dealers, and distributors. The ideal candidate should have experience in B2B/B2C sales within the construction industry and a proven ability to generate new business while maintaining long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the construction and infrastructure sector.
- Promote and sell building material products to builders, contractors, developers, architects, consultants, dealers, and distributors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Conduct regular customer visits, site meetings, and product demonstrations.
- Generate enquiries, prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales orders.
- Monitor project pipelines and identify upcoming construction opportunities.
- Coordinate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy customer accounts.
- Gather market intelligence on competitor products, pricing, and customer requirements.
- Prepare daily sales reports, customer visit reports, and monthly sales forecasts.
- Represent the company at trade exhibitions, dealer meets, and industry events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in sales of building materials or construction products.
- Freshers with strong communication skills and a passion for sales may also be considered.
Required Skills
- Strong B2B/B2C sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Knowledge of the construction and building materials market.
- Ability to identify opportunities and close sales independently.
- Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

- Existing network with builders, contractors, architects, developers, dealers, and distributors.
- Understanding of construction projects and procurement processes.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales Targets.
