Role: This internship is designed for a multi-skilled creative individual who can independently manage the organisation's visual output, from day-to-day social media posts to more involved creative projects. The work is project-based and emerges as per business needs, making it an ideal engagement for a student who wants real-world creative ownership without the rigidity of a fixed-schedule role. You will be the go-to person for all things visual, working closely with the HR, marketing, and leadership teams to translate ideas into compelling design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Graphic Design & Visual Communication - Design external and internal communication materials
- Photo Editing & Retouching - Create, organise and maintain a digital asset library of visual resources
- Video Editing & Motion Content - Edit ideas for internal communications, social media and events
- 3D Design & Animation (Good to Have) - Develop basic 3D assets, product renders, or environmental visuals when required
- General Creative Support - Respond to ad hoc creative requests from teams across the organisation and stay current with design trends and proactively bring fresh visual ideas to the table
Requirements:
Essential -
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed BFA, BA, or B.Des. (Graphic Design, Animation, Visual Effects) or equivalent
- Proficient in Apple Creator Studio, Adobe Creative Suite and other
- Strong foundational skills in layout, colour theory and visual storytelling
- Ability to handle multiple creative formats: static, motion and photo
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred -
- Working knowledge of 3D tools
- Familiarity with Canva, Figma or other quick-turnaround design tools
- Basic understanding of brand guidelines and corporate communication aesthetics
- Prior internship, freelance work or strong academic project portfolio
Soft skills -
- Reliable, detail-oriented and responsive to feedback
- Good communication skills to understand and translate briefs accurately
- Adaptable, willing to take on varied tasks as priorities evolve
