Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor junior baristas, ensuring high standards of service and product quality.
- Manage inventory by tracking stock levels, placing orders, and receiving deliveries to maintain optimal supply.
- Coordinate staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours and managing time-off requests.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including workstations, equipment, and customer areas.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively, ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
- Monitor sales performance and assist in meeting sales targets through promotional activities and upselling techniques.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on beverage preparation, customer service, and equipment usage.
- Implement and adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for staff and customers.
- Assist in developing new beverage recipes and seasonal offerings to enhance the menu and attract customers.
