Position: Grade 3 Home Room Teacher (HRT)
A Grade 3 Home Room Teacher is responsible for creating a positive learning environment, handling the academic and behavioral development of students, and ensuring effective communication between school and parents.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons as per the school curriculum.
- Teach core subjects such as English, Mathematics, EVS, and SST.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and teaching aids.
- Conduct regular class assessments, tests, and evaluations.
- Maintain students’ academic records and progress reports.
- Support slow learners and encourage advanced learners.
- Ensure completion of syllabus within the academic schedule.
- Maintain discipline and classroom decorum.
- Create a safe, positive, and child-friendly classroom environment.
- Monitor students’ behavior, attendance, and participation.
- Encourage good manners, teamwork, and confidence among students.
- Handle classroom activities, seating arrangements, and classroom displays.
- Focus on students’ overall development — academic, emotional, social, and physical.
- Identify students needing additional academic or behavioral support.
- Motivate students through creative and interactive learning methods.
- Encourage participation in co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
- Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student progress and behavior.
- Attend parent-teacher meetings (PTMs) and school events.
- Coordinate with subject teachers, coordinators, and school management.
- Share homework, circulars, and important updates with parents on time.
- Maintain attendance registers and student records accurately.
- Prepare report cards and assessment documentation.
- Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and workshops.
- Follow school policies, safety guidelines, and academic standards.
- Assist in school events, celebrations, examinations, and competitions.
Qualification : B.Ed or Relevant Qualification
Exp : Atleast 2 years in reputed CBSE curriculum school
