Job Summary:
The Biomedical Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, and safe functioning of all medical equipment in the hospital. The role ensures that all biomedical devices are operating efficiently and comply with safety and regulatory standards to support quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and maintain biomedical equipment such as monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, imaging systems, etc.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of all medical equipment.
- Calibrate equipment and ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment faults in a timely manner.
- Maintain proper documentation of equipment history, service reports, and maintenance logs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and biomedical regulations.
- Coordinate with vendors for AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and service support.
- Assist in procurement by evaluating new medical equipment.
- Train hospital staff on proper use and handling of equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements when needed.
- Ensure proper inventory management of spare parts and tools.
Qualification & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in hospital or healthcare equipment maintenance (preferred).
- Knowledge of medical equipment, electronics, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
