We are looking for a passionate and confident Academy Counselor (Tele Caller) to guide prospective students and help them choose the right courses based on their career goals.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective students who have shown interest in our courses
- Counsel students about available programs, course benefits, and career opportunities
- Understand students' educational needs and recommend suitable courses
- Follow up with interested candidates and convert inquiries into admissions
- Schedule counseling sessions or campus visits when required
- Maintain accurate records of calls, inquiries, and student information
- Coordinate with the admissions team to ensure a smooth enrollment process
- Achieve admission and follow-up targets
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills (Tamil & English preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and counseling skills
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Email, CRM is an added advantage)
- Ability to handle calls professionally and build rapport with students
- Positive attitude with good convincing and negotiation skills
- Prior experience in tele-calling, education counseling, or sales is preferred but not mandatory
