Job Summary
The Video Editor & Social Media Executive will be responsible for planning, creating, editing, and publishing high-quality digital content across various social media platforms. The role requires expertise in videography, photography, video editing, content creation, and social media management to enhance the institution's brand image and online engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Video Production & Editing
- Capture videos and photographs of school events, classroom activities, competitions, celebrations, annual functions, sports events, seminars, and special programs.
- Edit professional-quality videos for:
- Instagram Reels
- Facebook Videos
- YouTube Shorts
- YouTube Channel Content
- Promotional and Admission Campaign Videos
- Add transitions, effects, motion graphics, subtitles, background music, logos, and branding elements.
- Create student achievement videos, parent testimonials, faculty interviews, and institutional promotional content.
- Maintain an organized digital library of photos and videos.
Social Media Management
- Manage and maintain the institution's social media accounts.
- Plan, schedule, and publish daily content across:
- Instagram
- Facebook
- YouTube
- LinkedIn
- WhatsApp Channels
- Develop monthly social media content calendars.
- Monitor comments, messages, and audience engagement.
- Track social media performance and prepare monthly analytics reports.
Content Creation & Branding
- Design posters, banners, social media creatives, and promotional materials.
- Create content highlighting:
- Academic achievements
- Student success stories
- Faculty accomplishments
- Campus facilities
- Events and celebrations
- Admission campaigns
- Ensure consistency in branding and visual identity across all platforms.
Marketing & Admissions Support
- Support student admission campaigns through digital marketing initiatives.
- Create promotional content for admissions, events, workshops, and public relations activities.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative departments to gather content and success stories.
- Assist in enhancing the institution's online reputation and visibility.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Visual Communication, Multimedia, Mass Communication, Journalism, Digital Media, Marketing, or related field.
- Diploma or certification in Video Editing, Graphic Design, or Digital Marketing is an added advantage.
- Freshers with a strong portfolio may apply.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.

- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Canva
- CapCut
- Filmora
- DaVinci Resolve
- Strong understanding of video formats, social media trends, and content optimization.
