POSITION: SEWING MACHINE OPERATOR (TRAINER)
LOCATION: KENDUJHAR
Educational Qualification
- ITI in Sewing Technology, Fashion Technology, Garment Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
- Diploma/Degree in Fashion Technology, Apparel Production, Textile Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
- NSQF/ASDC Trainer Certification or ToT Certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in garment manufacturing, industrial sewing, or vocational training.
- Experience in Government Skill Development Projects (DDU-GKY, PMKVY, JSDM, NSDC) is preferred.
- Experience working in garment export houses or apparel manufacturing units will be an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Excellent knowledge of industrial sewing machines and garment construction.
- Ability to train candidates on production-line operations and quality standards.
- Knowledge of apparel manufacturing processes and workplace safety.
- Strong classroom management and practical demonstration skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Email, MIS Reporting).
- Strong mentoring, counselling, and problem-solving abilities.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of batch completion targets.
- High trainee attendance and retention.
- Assessment and certification success rate.
- Placement percentage of trained candidates.
- Compliance with project documentation and audit requirements.
- Maintenance of training quality and workshop equipment.
- Positive trainee feedback and industry readiness.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
