The Service Engineer (Electrical) is responsible for on-site installation, electrical integration, testing, commissioning, and technical support of industrial tools and equipment at customer facilities. The role involves close coordination with internal teams, customers, and subcontractors to ensure safe, timely, and successful project execution in compliance with technical specifications and EHS requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Electrical Integration
- Perform electrical installation of industrial tools and equipment in accordance with approved drawings, schematics, and project specifications
- Verify incoming power supply, grounding, control panels, cable routing, and interlocks
- Support mechanical installation teams during tool setup and alignment
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors for electrical cabling, panel installation, and related works
Testing & Commissioning
- Conduct pre-commissioning checks, including continuity, insulation resistance, and I/O verification
- Perform power-on, functional testing, and initial tool start-up
- Troubleshoot electrical and control-related issues during commissioning
- Support Final Acceptance Test (FAT) and customer handover activities
Maintenance & Technical Support
- Provide on-site and remote technical support during warranty and post installation phases
- Support tool modifications, upgrades, and relocation/dismantling projects as required
- Identify recurring issues and recommend corrective or preventive actions
Safety & Compliance
- Comply strictly with company and customer EHS policies, electrical safety standards, and LOTO procedures
- Ensure all site activities are executed safely and in compliance with local regulations
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare commissioning reports, checklists, and service reports
- Update as-built drawings and red-line electrical schematics
- Provide regular progress updates to project and service management
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
