Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled MEP Site Engineer (Electrical & HVAC) to manage on-site execution, coordination, inspection, and quality control of electrical and HVAC works. The candidate will ensure projects are delivered as per approved drawings, technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site Execution & Supervision
- Execute electrical and HVAC works as per IFC drawings and project specifications.
- Supervise installation of cable trays, conduits, panels, lighting, earthing, and power distribution systems.
- Oversee installation of HVAC systems including ducting, piping, insulation, chillers/VRF, AHUs, and ventilation systems.
- Ensure proper routing, alignment, and quality of installation works.
2. Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate with civil, architectural, and other MEP services for smooth execution.
- Review drawings and raise RFIs for discrepancies before execution.
- Prepare daily/weekly work schedules and monitor progress against timelines.
- Work closely with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors.
3. Quality Control
- Ensure installations comply with approved shop drawings and technical standards.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning of electrical and HVAC systems.
- Maintain QA/QC documentation, checklists, and inspection reports.
- Monitor material approvals and ensure usage of approved materials only.
4. Testing & Commissioning
- Assist in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
- Perform testing of electrical systems (cables, panels, lighting controls, earthing).
- Coordinate TAB (Testing, Adjusting & Balancing) for HVAC systems.
- Support handover documentation and as-built preparation.
5. Safety Compliance
- Ensure all site works comply with safety regulations and company HSE policies.
- Conduct toolbox talks and monitor safe working practices.
- Identify and mitigate site risks related to electrical and HVAC works.
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily progress reports and site records.
- Track material consumption and coordinate with procurement teams.
- Prepare measurement sheets for billing and subcontractor evaluation.
- Update as-built drawings and O&M documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- 3+ years of experience in MEP site execution (Electrical & HVAC).
- Experience in commercial buildings, hospitals, industrial projects, or data centers preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and HVAC installation practices.
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with load calculations, duct sizing, and equipment layouts.
- Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
Soft Skills
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple activities on-site.
- Problem-solving attitude with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and reporting capability.
Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Experience working with consultants and PMC teams.
- Knowledge of project documentation and billing processes.
- Exposure to green building or high-performance HVAC systems.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
