Amethyst International School is seeking a dynamic and experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) to manage the school’s communication, branding, and stakeholder engagement. The PRO will be responsible for building strong relationships with parents, media, and the community, while ensuring the school’s reputation and values are upheld.
Eligibility Criteria:
· Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
· Minimum 2–3 years of experience in PR/communications (preferably in education sector).
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
· Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
· Proficiency in digital communication tools and social media management.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement communication strategies to promote the school’s vision and achievements.
· Manage media relations, press releases, and public announcements.
· Coordinate school events, admissions campaigns, and outreach programs.
· Handle parent communication and ensure timely responses to queries.
· Maintain the school’s online presence across social media and digital platforms.
· Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to ensure consistent messaging.
Location: Ottiyambakkam, Chennai
