Job Summary:
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food quality and hygiene standards, managing staff performance, and achieving sales and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Supervise daily restaurant operations smoothly and efficiently.
- Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed.
- Monitor food quality, service standards, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards across the outlet.
Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff.
- Prepare duty schedules and manage manpower effectively.
- Conduct staff evaluations and disciplinary actions when required.
- Ensure proper grooming and professional behavior of employees.
Customer Service
- Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly.
- Ensure guests receive excellent dining experience.
- Build customer relationships and maintain service quality.
Inventory & Purchase Control
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the purchase department.
- Reduce wastage and control operational costs.
- Verify daily stock usage and conduct periodic inventory checks.
Sales & Financial Management
- Achieve monthly sales targets and profitability goals.
- Monitor daily sales reports and expenses.
- Control labor costs and operational expenses.
- Ensure proper cash handling and billing procedures.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with food safety and company policies.
- Maintain licenses, statutory records, and operational documents.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs and legal requirements.
Reporting
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Coordinate with management regarding operational improvements.
- Report major issues immediately to higher management.
Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
