About the Role
Prospective Designs is looking for an experienced and responsible Interior Designer to lead the design team, manage design deliverables, coordinate with clients and project teams, and ensure that projects are completed as per the approved design, quality standards, and timelines.
The candidate should have strong knowledge of interior design, excellent team-handling abilities, client communication skills, and the ability to take complete ownership of assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Management
- Lead, guide, and supervise the design team.
- Allocate projects and tasks among team members according to their capabilities and workload.
- Monitor the daily progress of designers and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Review team members' drawings, designs, presentations, and documentation before submission.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with team members regarding pending and upcoming tasks.
- Identify performance gaps and provide necessary guidance and support.
- Ensure proper coordination and communication within the design team.
2. Design & Project Responsibilities
- Develop and review interior design concepts based on client requirements.
- Prepare and review space planning, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, flooring layouts, elevations, sections, and other technical drawings.
- Ensure designs are practical, aesthetically appealing, and technically feasible.
- Coordinate material selections, finishes, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and other design elements.
- Ensure all drawings are prepared as per approved concepts and project requirements.
- Review drawings before issuing them to the client, site team, or vendors.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of project files.
3. Client Coordination
- Attend client meetings and understand project requirements.
- Present design concepts, drawings, material selections, and proposals to clients.
- Handle client queries and provide appropriate design solutions.
- Coordinate revisions based on client feedback.
- Maintain professional communication and ensure timely responses.
- Ensure client approvals are properly documented before proceeding with execution.
4. Site & Execution Coordination
- Coordinate with the Site Supervisor, Project Manager, vendors, and contractors.
- Review site conditions and provide design-related clarifications.
- Ensure that site execution is aligned with approved drawings and specifications.
- Address design-related site issues and provide practical solutions.
- Conduct site visits whenever required.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding drawings, measurements, materials, and execution requirements.
5. Quality & Timeline Management
- Ensure all design deliverables are completed within the assigned timelines.
- Maintain quality standards across all projects.
- Check drawings thoroughly to minimize errors and revisions.
- Monitor project design schedules and highlight delays to management.
- Ensure proper version control of drawings and documents.
- Follow the company's design standards, processes, and documentation procedures.
6. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily/weekly project status updates.
- Maintain project-wise task trackers and design schedules.
- Maintain records of client approvals, revisions, drawings, and material selections.
- Submit regular team performance and project progress reports to management.
- Ensure all project-related information is properly organized and accessible.
Required Technical Skills
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- 3D Visualization software
- Adobe Photoshop
- MS Office / Google Workspace
- Basic knowledge of Enscape rendering software
- Knowledge of working drawings and technical detailing
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and interior execution
- Understanding of BOQ and material specifications will be an advantage

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should be a responsible, confident, creative, and technically strong Interior Designer with proven experience in handling a team and managing multiple projects. The candidate must be capable of independently taking ownership of design responsibilities while ensuring that the team remains productive, coordinated, and aligned with company standards.
Salary: As per experience and interview
Joining: Immediate / As per availability
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
