Hiring Position: EHS Officer / Senior Officer (Manufacturing)
We are looking for an experienced EHS Officer / Senior Officer to join our team. If you have a strong background in industrial safety, environmental compliance, and ISO systems, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance & Legal Requirements
- Ensure compliance with Fire NOC, Building Plan Approval, and Building Stability Certificates.
- Manage PCB requirements: CTE, CTO, ETP/STP compliance, and hazardous/bio-medical waste authorization.
- Track annual returns and manifests, and maintain statutory formats (Form-3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 27, 40).
- Handle replies to PCB notices and manage inspection reports.
ISO & Management Systems
- Maintain ISO 45001 (OHSMS) and ISO 14001 (EMS) standards.Conduct internal audits and close non-conformities.
- Support green building initiatives using IGBC knowledge.
Safety & Environmental Management
- Prepare HIRA (Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment) and Aspect Impact Analysis (AIA).
- Enforce work permit systems for high-risk jobs.Investigate incidents and drive CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
- Monitor ETP/STP operations and coordinate NABL-certified lab testing.
Training & Emergency
- PreparednessLead safety inductions, toolbox talks, and emergency mock drills.
- Train the Emergency Response Team (ERT) and maintain firefighting equipment.
Qualifications & Skills
✔Education: BE or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
✔Experience: 5–8 years in safety management within a manufacturing/industrial setup.
✔Certifications (Preferred): RLI, CLI, IIISM, or Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Industrial Safety.
✔Core Knowledge: Strong grip on EHS legislation, PCB norms, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and IGBC guidelines.
✔Languages: Kannada and Hindi are mandatory.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
