Medical Billing Specialist – Home Health & Behavioral Health
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to join our growing team supporting Home Health Care and Behavioral Health providers, primarily in North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) records and resolve discrepancies.
- Perform patient authorization verification and tracking.
- Create and submit professional claims through NCTracks, HHAeXchange, AxisCare, CareBridge, and ICANotes.
- Manage claim denials, rejections, and appeals.
- Follow up on outstanding claims and Accounts Receivable (A/R).
- Monitor claim status and ensure timely reimbursement.
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Home Health Care and/or Behavioral Health billing.
- Working knowledge of NCTracks, HHAeXchange, AxisCare, CareBridge, and ICANotes.
- Understanding of Medicaid, authorization requirements, and claim submission processes.
- Experience with North Carolina providers is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Freshers with relevant healthcare billing knowledge may apply.
