Job Purpose
To teach Mathematics to middle and secondary school students, develop their analytical and problem-solving skills, and ensure effective learning through engaging teaching methods aligned with the school curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teaching & Learning
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for assigned classes.
- Follow the prescribed curriculum and academic calendar.
- Use innovative teaching methods to make mathematical concepts easy to understand.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching aids.
- Encourage logical thinking and problem-solving abilities in students.
2. Student Assessment
- Conduct regular assessments, tests, and examinations.
- Evaluate answer sheets and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and academic performance.
- Identify students needing additional support and provide remedial classes if required.
3. Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment in the classroom.
- Ensure active participation of all students during lessons.
4. Academic Administration
- Maintain lesson plans, attendance records, and academic documentation.
- Assist in preparing question papers, worksheets, and report cards.
- Participate in school meetings, training programs, and workshops.
5. Parent Communication
- Interact with parents during PTMs to discuss student performance and progress.
- Provide guidance to parents regarding academic improvement.
6. Co-Curricular & School Activities
- Participate in school events, competitions, and academic programs.
- Encourage students to take part in Mathematics related activities such as quizzes, Olympiads, and projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics (B.Sc / B.A with Mathematics).
- B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) – Mandatory.
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a school preferred.

- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Proficiency in using digital teaching tools and smart boards.
- Patience, adaptability, and student-focused approach.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per hour
