Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Architect to design, plan, and oversee the development of residential, commercial, and institutional projects. The Architect will be responsible for preparing architectural designs, coordinating with clients and consultants, ensuring compliance with building regulations, and supporting project execution from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural concepts, designs, and detailed drawings for projects.
- Prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, 3D models, and presentation materials.
- Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and design preferences.
- Ensure designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with civil engineers, structural consultants, MEP teams, and contractors.
- Conduct site visits and monitor construction progress to ensure design compliance.
- Review and approve architectural shop drawings and material selections.
- Prepare project documentation, specifications, and reports.
- Assist in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities.
- Resolve design-related issues during project execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch).
- Registration with the relevant architectural council/body (if applicable).
- 1–5+ years of professional experience in architectural design and project execution.
- Freshers with strong design and software skills may also apply.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, or similar architectural software.
- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles and construction methods.
- Understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent visualization, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in residential, commercial, or institutional projects.
- Knowledge of sustainable and green building practices.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows.
- Experience with project coordination and site supervision.
Working Conditions
- Combination of office-based design work and site visits.
- May require travel to project locations and client meetings.
