About the Role
Heliosys Technologies is offering a short-term marketing internship designed for enthusiastic individuals looking to gain practical experience in sales and marketing of digital solutions. This is an intensive, hands-on programme where interns will learn to generate leads, build proposals, and communicate effectively with potential clients.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Research and identify potential clients for websites, e-commerce stores, hosting, and domain services.
- Approach prospective clients via calls, emails, and in-person meetings under guidance.
Sales Support & Client Interaction
- Assist the sales team in preparing proposals, presentations, and quotations.
- Support in following up with leads to convert them into customers.
- Shadow sales executives during client meetings to learn the end-to-end process.
Marketing Activities
- Help plan and execute local marketing campaigns to promote Heliosys Technologies’ services.
- Work on building marketing databases and identifying new channels for outreach.
Reporting
- Maintain detailed records of activities, prospects contacted, and progress against targets.
- Provide daily/weekly reports to the mentor or supervisor.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Students or recent graduates from any discipline (preferably business, marketing, or IT-related fields).
- Strong interest in digital marketing, website solutions, and e-commerce.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Kannada.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to learn quickly.
- Comfortable with fieldwork and approaching potential clients (if needed).
Training Provided:
- Practical training on sales and marketing of digital services.
- Guidance on proposal preparation, client communication, and closing techniques.
- Exposure to real-world marketing tools and CRM systems.
Targets for Certificate Eligibility:
- Achieve mutually agreed lead generation or conversion targets during the internship.
- 90% attendance.
- Generate 50 qualified leads
- 1 conversion
- Active participation in marketing and sales initiatives.
- Timely completion of assigned tasks and reports.
Note: Certificate of completion will be issued only upon meeting the agreed targets.
