Job Title: Safety Officer
Industry: Steel Plant / Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with plant safety rules and statutory regulations.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments in production areas.
- Monitor PPE usage and safe work practices.
- Investigate accidents/incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety training for employees and contractors.
- Ensure fire safety, emergency preparedness, and permit-to-work compliance.
- Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering or Industrial Safety.
- NEBOSH/IOSH/OSHA certification preferred.
- Experience in steel, manufacturing, or heavy industry preferred.
- Good knowledge of industrial safety standards and hazard control.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
