Job Summary
Tiwana Nutrition Global Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dynamic and experienced Electrical Engineer – Maintenance to manage the maintenance and reliability of all electrical systems and equipment at our cattle feed manufacturing plant in Kalyangadh, Gujarat. The incumbent will be responsible for preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to ensure maximum plant uptime, safe operations, and continuous production.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all plant electrical equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot HT/LT panels, transformers, motors, MCCs, PCCs, APFC panels, VFDs, PLCs, and electrical control systems.
- Ensure uninterrupted operation of production lines, pellet mills, hammer mills, conveyors, bucket elevators, packing machines, boilers, compressors, and utility equipment.
- Diagnose electrical faults and implement corrective actions with minimum downtime.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Monitor electrical load, power factor, and energy consumption, and recommend energy-saving initiatives.
- Supervise electricians and maintenance technicians and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Maintain records of preventive maintenance, breakdown reports, spare consumption, and equipment history.
- Ensure availability of critical electrical spare parts and coordinate procurement whenever required.
- Participate in installation, commissioning, and modification of new machinery and electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, statutory regulations, and company SOPs.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for annual maintenance and specialized electrical work.
- Support plant shutdown planning and execution.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs.
Educational Qualification
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Preferred)
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience may also be considered.
Experience
- 4–8 years of experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing industry.
- Experience in Cattle Feed, Animal Nutrition, Feed Mill, FMCG, Food Processing, Dairy, Agro Processing, Chemical, or Continuous Process Industries will be preferred.
