Key Responsibilities and Duties
Sales and Customer Service
- Greeting and Consulting: Warmly welcome customers, assess their needs, and determine the purpose of their visit (e.g., eye exam, picking up glasses, frame repair).
- Eyewear Selection: Guide customers through the selection of frames, ensuring the style, size, and fit are appropriate for their face shape, lifestyle, and lens prescription.
- Lens Counseling: Educate customers on different lens options (e.g., anti-reflective coatings, transition lenses, blue light filters, high-index materials) and recommend the best choice based on their visual needs and budget.
- Promoting Products: Discuss and sell additional products, such as contact lenses, sunglasses, cleaning solutions, and warranties.
- Point-of-Sale (POS): Process sales transactions, handle cash and credit payments, and manage invoicing and insurance claims.
