We are seeking an experienced and passionate Resort Manager to lead the operations of our exquisite wildlife resort. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of luxury hospitality, a strong commitment to conservation, and proven leadership skills to ensure an unforgettable experience for our guests while maintaining the highest standards of ecological responsibility. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing all aspects of resort operations, from guest services and staff management to financial performance and property maintenance, all within the unique context of a wildlife sanctuary.
- Oversee all daily operations of the resort, including front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, activities, and guest services, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional standards.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency, guest satisfaction, and profitability, aligning with the resort's conservation mission.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse team of staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure an outstanding guest experience by proactively addressing guest needs, resolving complaints efficiently, and gathering feedback to continuously improve services.
- Manage the resort's budget, control costs, monitor revenue, and implement strategies to achieve financial targets and maximize profitability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local communities, wildlife authorities, and conservation partners to support sustainable tourism initiatives.
- Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all resort facilities, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality of accommodations, public areas, and operational equipment.
- Implement and monitor sustainability practices throughout the resort, including waste management, energy conservation, and responsible sourcing.
- Collaborate with the marketing and sales team to promote the resort, develop unique guest packages, and enhance the resort's brand presence.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and local regulatory requirements.
- Prepare regular reports on operational performance, financial results, and guest satisfaction for senior management.
- Handle emergency situations and crisis management effectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of guests and staff.
