JD – Online Merchandising
About the Role
Aza Fashions is looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Online Merchandising Executive to support the management and optimization of our online product assortment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in luxury fashion e-commerce while working closely with merchandising, cataloguing, marketing, and operations teams to enhance the online shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
Merchandising Support & Planning
- Assist in managing online product assortments across Bridal, Occasion Wear, Pret, Jewellery, and Accessories categories.
- Support the merchandising team in executing category plans and achieving sales and inventory objectives.
- Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify merchandising opportunities.
- Assist in preparing seasonal launches, category updates, and promotional activities.
Inventory & Assortment Management
- Coordinate with inventory, warehouse, and cataloging teams to ensure product availability and accurate stock updates.
- Monitor inventory levels and highlight low-stock or aging inventory to the merchandising team.
- Support inventory reconciliation and ensure accurate product information across platforms.
- Assist in maintaining optimal assortment levels to improve customer experience and sales performance.
Digital Merchandising & Customer Experience
- Support product placement, category updates, collection curation, and promotional merchandising on the website.
- Ensure products are correctly categorized, tagged, and displayed to maximize visibility.
- Assist in monitoring website merchandising performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Work closely with content and marketing teams to support campaigns, trend edits, and category promotions.
Designer & Vendor Coordination
- Coordinate with designer brands and internal teams to ensure timely product launches and updates.
- Follow up on product information, inventory availability, and launch timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of designer collections and product assortments.
- Support relationship management with designer partners through regular communication and coordination.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Buying, Marketing, Cataloging, Operations, and Customer Experience teams to ensure smooth execution of merchandising activities.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and performance trackers.
- Support the team in day-to-day merchandising operations and special projects.
Desired Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Management, Retail Management, Fashion Technology, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in merchandising, e-commerce, retail, or fashion-related roles.
- Strong interest in luxury fashion, online retail, and merchandising.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with e-commerce platforms is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the fashion and e-commerce industry.
