About the Role:
UST is seeking a Workday Advanced Compensation Functional Consultant to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Workday Advanced Compensation solutions.
In this role, you will partner with business leaders to drive global compensation transformation initiatives, including merit, bonus, and stock planning processes. You will provide subject matter expertise, ensure alignment with best practices, and support the execution of annual compensation cycles.
The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in Workday Compensation configuration, stakeholder management, and global HR processes.
The Opportunity and Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end configuration and implementation of Workday Advanced Compensation modules
- Configure and manage:
- Merit, Bonus, and Stock Plans
- Compensation Worksheets & Statements
- Compensation Guidelines and Eligibility Rules
- Compensation Review Processes
- Drive execution of annual compensation cycles, including:
- Merit reviews
- Bonus planning
- Stock plan administration
- Partner with business stakeholders to:
- Gather and analyze requirements
- Conduct workshops and solution discussions
- Translate business needs into Workday solutions
- Provide subject matter expertise (SME) and recommend best practices for compensation processes
- Ensure compliance with global compensation policies and corporate governance requirements
- Perform end-to-end configuration, testing, and deployment of system enhancements and new features
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for:
- Integration
- Testing (SIT/UAT)
- Troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root-cause analysis, and deliver timely solutions
- Develop and maintain:
- Functional documentation
- Configuration guides
- Process flows
- Support Workday releases, regression testing, and new feature adoption
- Drive continuous process optimization and system improvements
Solution Design & Delivery:
- Configure and optimize Workday Advanced Compensation modules
- Develop and maintain:
- Compensation reports and dashboards
- Business process frameworks
- Lead annual compensation cycle:
- Planning
- Testing
- Execution
- Ensure scalability, performance, and alignment with business objectives
What You Need:
- At least 8+ years of experience in HRIS / HR Technology / HR Operations
- At least 4+ years of hands-on experience in Workday Advanced Compensation
- Workday Certification (Mandatory) – Advanced Compensation or HCM Core preferred
- Strong knowledge of:
- Workday business processes
- Security framework
- Reporting and dashboards
- Experience supporting multiple annual compensation cycles
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work with global teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field
