Accountant
Job Summary
An Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting business decision-making through accurate financial data.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Record daily financial transactions and reconcile bank statements
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and financial regulations
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to management
- Handle payroll processing (if required)
- Support audits and maintain proper documentation
- Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification such as CPA, CA, or equivalent (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS)
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and organizational abilities
Experience
- Entry-level: 0–2 years
- Mid-level: 3–5 years
- Senior: 5+ years with leadership responsibilities
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
